Jesus as the Source of Endurance
Today I want to talk about a quieter kind of endurance, the kind that looks a little less like running and a little more like just existing. Most of us aren’t going to be Olympic-level racers; but all of us have experienced feeling discouraged, lonely, sad, or depleted. In the race we’re running, the hurdles are everything from disobedient children to medical diagnoses to fractured friendships. Sometimes the smallest things can take us down. Jesus meets us in those moments too, because he has been there, and he understands.

Treasure in Clay Jars
Acknowledging the reality of our weakness allows us to understand more about the power and nature of God. The illusion that we are powerful and in control is not reality. Today, we're going to look at 2 Corinthians 4:7-12, and we're going to talk about the preciousness of our treasure, the purpose of our brokenness, and the process of showing both to others.

Biblical Confidence
As women, we have a complicated relationship with ‘confidence’. From an early age, we’re inundated with worldly messages that leave us with a false standard of perfection. In the work force, we’re encouraged to be aggressive but are also admonished for doing so. In the church, we’re told to have a gentle and quiet spirit, but in practice this often looks like not speaking up for ourselves. All of this can be disheartening and confusing. This seminar will look at what the Bible has to say about godly confidence, and consider how to apply these principles. We’ll look at stories of both men & women in the Bible who exhibited godly confidence, allowing their example to encourage and inspire us.
